Section 68(1)

Where a National Park authority is the local planning authority for any National Park, section 184 of the 1972 Act and paragraph 37 of Schedule 17 to that Act (functions under certain legislation relating to the National Parks and the countryside) shall not apply as respects that Park in relation to any of the functions conferred by or under— on a planning authority of any description. the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 (“the 1949 Act”), or the Countryside Act 1968 (“the 1968 Act”),
