Schedule 10A, Part 1, paragraph 2
This Schedule applies to information published by the issuer of securities to which this Schedule applies— by recognised means, or by other means where the availability of the information has been announced by the issuer by recognised means. It is immaterial whether the information is required to be published (by recognised means or otherwise). The following are “recognised means”— a recognised information service; other means required or authorised to be used to communicate information to the market in question, or to the public, when a recognised information service is unavailable. A “recognised information service” means— in relation to a securities market situated or operating in the United Kingdom, a service used for the dissemination of information in accordance with transparency rules; in relation to a securities market situated or operating outside the United Kingdom, a service used for the dissemination of information corresponding to that required to be disclosed under transparency rules; or in relation to any securities market, any other service used by issuers of securities for the dissemination of information required to be disclosed by the rules of the market.
