A “recognised information service” means— in relation to a securities market situated or operating in the United Kingdom, a service used for the dissemination of information in accordance with transparency rules; in relation to a securities market situated or operating outside the United Kingdom, a service used for the dissemination of information corresponding to that required to be disclosed under transparency rules; or in relation to any securities market, any other service used by issuers of securities for the dissemination of information required to be disclosed by the rules of the market.
