If the appropriate regulator proposes to impose a penalty on a person under section 309U, it must give the person a warning notice. A warning notice under this section must state the amount of the penalty. If the appropriate regulator decides to impose a penalty on a person under section 309U, it must give the person a decision notice. A decision notice under this section must state the amount of the penalty. If the appropriate regulator decides to impose a penalty on a person under section 309U, the person may refer the matter to the Tribunal.
