In this Act “qualifying provision” means a provision of any of the following— assimilated direct legislation; technical standards made in accordance with Chapter 2A of Part 9A; other subordinate legislation made under assimilated direct legislation; subordinate legislation ... made by virtue of regulations made under section 8 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018. In this section, “subordinate legislation” has the same meaning as in the Interpretation Act 1978 (see section 21 of that Act).
