Section 334

A person guilty of an offence under section 327, 328 or 329 is liable— on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or to both, or on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 14 years or to a fine or to both. A person guilty of an offence under section 330, 331or 332 is liable— on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or to both, or on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to a fine or to both. A person guilty of an offence under section 339(1A) is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
