Schedule 4, Part 1, paragraph 1A

EA 2002
Enterprise Act 2002 · United Kingdom

Where a person (“A”) fails to comply with an injunction granted by the Tribunal in relevant proceedings, the Tribunal may certify the matter to the High Court. The High Court may enquire into the matter. If, after hearing any witnesses who may be produced against or on behalf of A, and any statement made by or on behalf of A, the High Court is satisfied that A would have been in contempt of court if the injunction had been granted by the High Court, the High Court may deal with A as if A were in contempt. For the purposes of this paragraph, “relevant proceedings” means proceedings under— section 47A or 47B of the 1998 Act; section 101 of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024; paragraph 7 of Schedule 9 to the Football Governance Act 2025.
