Schedule 11, paragraph 2(2)

In section 44, after subsection (4) there is inserted— Subsections (2) and (4) of this section do not apply to a contract to grant a term of years if the grant will be an event within section 4(1) of the Land Registration Act 2002 (events which trigger compulsory first registration of title).
