Schedule 7, paragraph 2(2)

The Secretary of State shall— pay such pension, allowances or gratuities as he may determine to or in respect of a person who is or has been the registrar, or make such payments as he may determine towards provision for the payment of a pension, allowances or gratuities to or in respect of such a person.
