Section 1099(2)

This section applies to— UK-registered companies; any body to which any provision of the Companies Acts applies by virtue of regulations under section 1043 (unregistered companies); and overseas companies that have registered particulars with the registrar under section 1046, other than companies that appear to the registrar not to be required to do so.
