Section 89(2)

In subsection (1)— “UK coastal waters” means areas landward of the seaward limit of the territorial sea adjacent to the United Kingdom; “the UK sector of the continental shelf” means the areas designated under section 1(7) of the Continental Shelf Act 1964 (c. 29).
