Schedule 26, Part 1, paragraph 76

Section 34 (meaning of unlawful) is amended as follows. In subsection (1) for “equality enactments” substitute “ Equality Act 2010 ”. In subsection (2)— after “virtue of” insert “ any of the following provisions of the Equality Act 2010 ”, and for paragraphs (a) to (c) substitute— section 1 (public sector duty regarding socio-economic inequalities), section 149, 153 or 154 (public sector equality duty), Part 12 (disabled persons: transport), or section 190 (disability: improvements to let dwelling houses).
