Section 153

A Minister of the Crown may by regulations impose duties on a public authority specified in Part 1 of Schedule 19 for the purpose of enabling the better performance by the authority of the duty imposed by section 149(1). The Welsh Ministers may by regulations impose duties on a public authority specified in Part 2 of Schedule 19 for that purpose. The Scottish Ministers may by regulations impose duties on a public authority specified in Part 3 of Schedule 19 for that purpose. Before making regulations under this section, the person making them must consult the Commission.
