Schedule 12A, paragraph 11

The executive members of the Commission are to be employees of the Commission. The executive members are to be employed by the Commission on such terms and conditions, including those as to remuneration, as the non-executive members of the Commission may determine. The Commission must— pay to or in respect of the executive members of the Commission such pensions, allowances or gratuities (including pensions, allowances or gratuities paid by way of compensation in respect of loss of office) as the non-executive members of the Commission may determine, and provide and maintain for them such pension schemes (whether contributory or not) as the non-executive members of the Commission may determine.
