Schedule 19, Part 1, paragraph 154

Section 20 of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 (disclosure and the intelligence services: supplementary provisions) is amended as follows. In subsection (2)(a), for “the Data Protection Act 1998 (c. 29)” substitute “ the data protection legislation ”. After subsection (4) insert— In this section, “the data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act).
