Schedule 19, Part 1, paragraph 166

Section 59 of the Charities Act 2011 (disclosure: supplementary) is amended as follows. The existing text becomes subsection (1). In that subsection, in paragraph (a), for “the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ the data protection legislation ”. After that subsection insert— In this section, “the data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act).
