Schedule 19, Part 1, paragraph 18

Schedule 2 to the Representation of the People Act 1983 (provisions which may be contained in regulations as to registration etc) is amended as follows. In paragraph 1A(5), for “the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ Parts 5 to 7 of the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3(4) and (14) of that Act) ”. In paragraph 8C(2), for “the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ Parts 5 to 7 of the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3(4) and (14) of that Act) ”. In paragraph 11A— in sub-paragraph (1) for “who are data users to supply data, or documents containing information extracted from data and” substitute “ to supply information ”, and omit sub-paragraph (2).
