Schedule 19, Part 1, paragraph 210

Section 50 of the Policing and Crime Act 2017 (Freedom of Information Act etc: Police Federation for England and Wales) is amended as follows. The existing text becomes subsection (1). In that subsection, in paragraph (b), for “the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ the data protection legislation ”. After that subsection, insert— In this section, “the data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act).
