Schedule 19, Part 1, paragraph 227

Section 204 of this Act (meaning of “health professional” and “social work professional”) is amended as follows (to reflect the arrangements for the registration of social workers in England under Part 2 of the Children and Social Work Act 2017). In subsection (1)(g)— omit “and Social Work”, and omit “, other than the social work profession in England”. In subsection (2), for paragraph (a) substitute— a person registered as a social worker in the register maintained by Social Work England under section 39(1) of the Children and Social Work Act 2017;
