Schedule 19, Part 1, paragraph 40

Section 251B of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 (prohibition on disclosure of information) is amended as follows. In subsection (3), for “the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ the data protection legislation ”. After subsection (6) insert— In this section, “the data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act).
