Schedule 19, Part 2, paragraph 278

Article 9 of the Financial Services and Markets 2000 (Disclosure of Confidential Information) Regulations 2001 (disclosure by regulators or regulator workers to certain other persons) is amended as follows. In paragraph (2B), for sub-paragraph (a) substitute— the disclosure is made in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR; After paragraph (5) insert— In this article, “the GDPR” has the same meaning as in Parts 5 to 7 of the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3(10), (11) and (14) of that Act).
