Schedule 19, Part 2, paragraph 379

Article 3 of the Communications Act 2003 (Disclosure of Information) Order 2014 (specification of relevant functions) is amended as follows. The existing text becomes paragraph (1). In that paragraph, in sub-paragraph (a), for “the Data Protection Act 1998” substitute “ the data protection legislation ”. After that paragraph insert— In this article, “the data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act).
