Section 17(9)

Regulations may provide that a particular provision of the regulations which— is to be regarded as not being financial sanctions legislation for the purposes of Part 8 of the Policing and Crime Act 2017 (financial sanctions: monetary penalties). contains a prohibition or requirement imposed for a purpose mentioned in section 3(1) or (2) or makes supplemental provision in connection with any such prohibition or requirement, and is specified by the regulations,
