Section 55(3)

A statutory instrument to which this subsection applies— must be laid before Parliament after being made, and if not approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament before the end of 28 days beginning with the day on which it is made, ceases to have effect at the end of that period (but without that affecting anything done under the regulations or the power to make new regulations).
