Schedule 1, paragraph 16

The OEP is not to be regarded— as a servant or agent of the Crown, or as enjoying any status, immunity or privilege of the Crown. The OEP’s property is not to be regarded as property of, or property held on behalf of, the Crown. Service as a member, or as an employee, of the OEP is not service in the civil service of the State.
