Section 8(8)

In section 429 (Parliamentary control of statutory instruments)— in subsection (2B), after paragraph (a) insert— provision made under section 71Q which amends or repeals a provision of this Act; provision made under section 71R which amends, repeals or revokes a provision of this Act or another Act of Parliament, an Act of the Scottish Parliament, an Act or Measure of Senedd Cymru, or Northern Ireland legislation; in subsection (8), in the list of sections beginning with “22B,”, insert at the appropriate place “, 71S”; in subsection (9) (as inserted by the Financial Services Act 2021), for the words from “which” to the end substitute “which is subject to a procedure before Parliament for the approval of the instrument in draft before it is made or its approval after it is made.”
