Schedule 2, Part 2, paragraph 18

A contract of employment or a worker’s contract. In this paragraph, the expressions “contract of employment” and “worker’s contract”— in the case of a contract awarded by a transferred Northern Ireland contracting authority or awarded as part of a procurement under a transferred Northern Ireland procurement arrangement, have the meanings given in Article 3 of the Employment Rights (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 (S.I. 1996/1919 (N.I. 16)); in any other case, have the meanings given in section 230 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.
