Section 139(7)

In this section— “enactment” includes— an enactment comprised in subordinate legislation (as defined in section 21 of the Interpretation Act 1978), an enactment comprised in, or in an instrument made under, a Measure or Act of Senedd Cymru, an enactment comprised in, or in an instrument made under, an Act of the Scottish Parliament, an enactment comprised in, or in an instrument made under, Northern Ireland legislation, and assimilated direct legislation; “primary legislation” means— an Act of Parliament; an Act of the Scottish Parliament; a Measure or Act of Senedd Cymru; Northern Ireland legislation.
