Section 13(1)

The Secretary of State or the Treasury may give financial assistance to a person for the purpose of— meeting expenses incurred, or to be incurred, by the person in performing duties, or exercising powers, imposed or conferred by or under regulations made under this Part, or exercising other functions in connection with such regulations.
