Section 34(1)

The Secretary of State may refuse to register a person providing digital verification services in the DVS register if the Secretary of State— considers that it is necessary to do so in the interests of national security, or is satisfied that the person is failing to comply with the DVS trust framework in respect of one or more of the digital verification services in respect of which the person applies to be registered.
