Section 12.8

This rule applies where the claimant obtains a default judgment on the filing of a request under rule 12.4(1) and judgment is for— an amount of money to be decided by the court; the value of goods to be decided by the court; or an amount of interest to be decided by the court. Where the court enters judgment it will— give any directions it considers appropriate; and if it considers it appropriate, allocate the case.
