The Civil Procedure Rules 1998 · United Kingdom
A “civil proceedings order” and an “all proceedings order” under section 42(1A) of the Senior Courts Act 1981 shall include provision for applying to begin, continue or make any application in any civil proceedings. A practice direction may set out— the circumstances in which the court has the power to make a civil restraint order against a party to proceedings; the procedure where a party applies for a civil restraint order against another party; and the consequences of the court making a civil restraint order.
