Section 44.8

Where— the party’s legal representative must notify that party in writing of the costs order no later than 7 days after the legal representative receives notice of the order. (Paragraph 10.1 of Practice Direction 44 defines “party” for the purposes of this rule.) the court makes a costs order against a legally represented party; and the party is not present when the order is made,
