Section 52.23(1)

Where the court from or to which an appeal is made or from which permission to appeal is sought (“the relevant court”) considers that— an appeal which is to be heard by the County Court or the High Court would raise an important point of principle or practice; or there is some other compelling reason for the Court of Appeal to hear it,
