Section 61.9(3)

An application for judgment in default— in a claim in rem must be made by filing— an application notice as set out in Practice Direction 61; a certificate proving service of the claim form; and evidence proving the claim to the satisfaction of the court; and in a claim in personam must be made in accordance with Part 12 with any necessary modifications.
