Section 77.20

Except where rule 6.7 applies— the claim form must be served personally in accordance with rule 6.5; and the time within which a certificate of service must be filed under rule 6.17(2)(a) shall be within 7 days of service of the claim form. Except where the defendant has given an address for service under rule 6.23(2)(a), a document other than the claim form must be served on the defendant personally in accordance with rule 6.22.
