Schedule 3, Part 1, paragraph 2A(1)

Section 137A of the 2000 Act applies for the purposes of these Regulations as if— references to authorised persons were references to authorised electronic money institutions and small electronic money institutions; in subsection (1)— the reference in paragraph (a) to the carrying on of regulated activities were to the issuance of electronic money, and the reference in paragraph (b) to the carrying on of activities which are not regulated activities were to the carrying on of activities in connection with the issuance of electronic money; . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
