Schedule 1A, paragraph 13

For the purposes of these Regulations, the Water Framework Directive is to be read in accordance with this paragraph. Article 2 is to be read as if paragraph 30 were omitted. Article 11(3)(j) is to be read as if— the reference to “Member States” were a reference to the appropriate authority or appropriate agency; in the words after the final indent, for “established for that body of groundwater” there were substituted “ (which has the meaning given in regulation 2(1) of the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016) in relation to a river basin district ”.
