Schedule 23, Part 2, paragraph 4(1)

Sub-paragraph (2) applies to a substance or article which— arises from or is used in a type 1 NORM industrial activity, is waste which arises from a type 2 NORM industrial activity, or is contaminated by a substance or article described in paragraph (a) or (b), including where such contamination occurs indirectly through another contaminated substance or article.
