Section 59(3)

If such a notice is issued, the local authority must exercise its functions under these Regulations to ensure the environmental permit for the installation or mobile plant includes— the emission limit values or conditions specified in the notice, or such stricter limit values or more onerous conditions as the authority thinks fit.
