Section 59
The Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017 · United Kingdom
A person (“P”) commits an offence if, for the purposes of obtaining, whether for P or another, the grant of a licence under regulation 55 or 56, P— makes a statement or representation, or supplies a document or information, which P knows to be false in a material particular; or recklessly makes a statement or representation, or supplies a document or information, which is false in a material particular. A person guilty of an offence under this regulation is liable on summary conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine, or to both.
