Section 20(15)

In paragraph (13)— the persons who are likely to have an interest in a planning application must include the persons who live or work in, or otherwise have a direct connection with, the area in which the proposed development is located; and the reasonable steps that are taken by the applicant— may include use of social media and communication by electronic means; must include posting on the site a notice containing the information set out in paragraph (13), or publishing in a local newspaper circulating in the locality in which the land is situated a notice containing the information set out in that paragraph, to the extent that it is reasonably practicable to so; and must be proportionate to the scale and impact of the development.
