Section 401 of the Act (proceedings for offences) applies as if— subsection (1)(c) were omitted; in subsection (3A)— paragraphs (a), (f), (g) and (h) were omitted; in paragraph (i) for “section 398(1)” there were substituted “ paragraph 16(1) of Schedule 1 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Markets in Financial Instruments) Regulations 2017 ”; subsection (3AB) were omitted.
