Schedule 2, paragraph 10

Section 122I (power to suspend trading in financial instruments) is amended as follows. After subsection (2) insert— But subsection (2) does not apply if the financial instrument is an emission allowance. In the opening words of subsection (4) after “instrument” insert “ other than an emission allowance ”. After subsection (4) insert— A suspension of trading in a financial instrument that is an emission allowance takes effect— immediately, if the FCA states that is the case; or on such later date as the FCA specify.
