Schedule 2, paragraph 16

Section 129 (power of the court to impose administrative sanctions in cases of market abuse) is amended as follows. In subsection (7), in the definition of “temporary prohibition”— at the end of paragraph (a) omit “or”; after paragraph (b) insert— ; or making a bid, on his or her own account or the account of a third party, directly or indirectly, at an auction conducted by a recognised auction platform. After subsection (7) insert— For the meaning of “recognised auction platform” in this Part, see section 131AB.
