Schedule 2, paragraph 21

Section 195A (contravention by relevant EEA firm etc of directive requirements: home state regulator primarily responsible for securing compliance) is amended as follows. In subsection (1)(a) for “62.1 or 62.3” substitute “ 86.1 or 86.3 ”. In subsection (2), insert— at the end of paragraph (a) omit “or”; after paragraph (a) insert— by or under any provision of the markets in financial instruments regulation; or in paragraph (b)— for “Community” substitute “ EU ”; and after “directive” insert “ or the markets in financial instruments regulation ”.
