Schedule 2, paragraph 54

Schedule 3 (EEA passport rights) is amended as follows. For paragraph 4C substitute— “The markets in financial instruments directive” means Directive 2014/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on markets in financial instruments. In paragraph 11A for “4.1.25” substitute “ 4.1.29 ”. In paragraph 12(3) after “5(a)”, insert “ or (b) ”. In paragraph 14(1)(ba) for “31.5” substitute “ 34.6 ”. In paragraph 20(4BA) for “31.6” substitute “ 34.7 ”. In paragraph 20A — after “investment firm” in both places, insert “ or UK credit institution ”; and after sub-paragraph (2) insert— In this paragraph “UK credit institution” means a UK firm— which is a credit institution; and whose EEA right derives from the markets in financial instruments directive.
