Section 55

Subject to regulation 42(2)(c) (disapplication of certain regulations in the case of low-value payment transactions), any information provided or made available in accordance with this Part must be provided or made available— in the case of single payment service contracts, in an easily accessible manner; subject to paragraph (2), on paper or on another durable medium; in easily understandable language and in a clear and comprehensible form; and in English or in the language agreed by the parties. Paragraph (1)(b)— in the case of single payment service contracts, only applies where the payment service user so requests; and in the case of framework contracts, is subject to any agreement in accordance with regulation 53(3) or 54(3) (information for the payer or payee on individual payment transactions) as to the manner in which information is to be provided or made available.
