Section 5(1)

The Secretary of State may designate persons by name in accordance with regulation 5A (conditions for the designation of persons by name) for the purposes of any of the following— regulations 11 to 15 (asset-freeze etc.); regulation 17A (corresponding banking relationships and processing payments); regulation 18C (trust services); regulation 19B (director disqualification sanctions); regulation 20 (immigration); regulation 46A (technical assistance relating to aircraft and ships); regulation 46Z39 (detained transport assets); regulation 54A (internet services); regulations 57A and 57C to 57E (ships: prohibition on port entry etc.); regulations 57J and 57M (aircraft).
