Section 60DZA(1)

The prohibitions in Chapter 4N (sectoral software and technology) are not contravened by any act done by a person (“P”) in satisfaction of an obligation to a person connected with Russia where that act is to discharge, or comply with, UK statutory or regulatory obligations, such obligations not arising under contract, provided that P notifies the Secretary of State of that act before the end of the period of 12 months beginning with the first day on which the act is done.
